Samhain

Updated: Mar 11

Samhain –pronounced SAH-win—is the ancient Celtic New Year marking the end of the harvest and the beginning of winter. It is a time to move indoors, to sit by the fire dreaming, reading, drinking warm cider. It is also a time of year when the veil between the worlds is thin. If you are captured by faeries or a puca on Samhain you may not return until Beltane, when the veil is thin again. Or you may be stuck in the faery land forever! Learn more about Samhain, pucas and faeries in Lantern Jack, part of my Celtic Magic Series from Changeling Press.

So... Happy Pagan New Year... from me...
